Inspired by queer eco-feminist literature including Haraway’s Staying with the Trouble: Making Kin in the Chthulucene, Jinthana Haritaworn Decolonizing the Non/Human, and Eileen Joy’s Improbable Manners of Being, Saxton embarks on a new phase of their (life) work as a dance-theatre artist of radical symbiotic becoming with the chosen companion species, the migratory White Stork.
